Newly launched ‘Sanasa Global Translators’ is a rebirth of ‘Sanasa Translation Center’, infused with young energy, new technology, and vigorous dynamism. Mr. George Kulatunga, a veteran translator, still leads the team. Mr. Kulatunga, holding double degrees in English and Sinhala mediums, is a retired Sri Lankan Administrative (Class-1) Officer. His proficiency in English and Sinhala languages was recognized by the government hierarchy during his tenure as a young administrator. As a result, he was handpicked by the late President J. R. Jayawardena for his translators’ pool and entrusted him with various translation assignments. Following his retirement, Mr. Kulatunga took oaths as a sworn translator authorized to translate documents from Sinhala to English and vice versa. He pioneered the Sanasa Translation Center in 2009. Despite operating silently, with zero publicity, his talent, quality, and workmanship spread through word of mouth. With ‘Sanasa Global Translators’, we have truly gone global. We have formed a Translators’ Pool consisting of translators qualified in major global languages.
